Awareness raising, capacity building, and development of basic knowledge management products on topics related to landscape and forest restoration

As part of the TEFIALA Project, the NGO TANY IFANDOVANA has been mandated to carry out awareness-raising, capacity-building, and knowledge product development activities. Our intervention aims to mobilize and support key stakeholders — local communities, decentralized authorities, deconcentrated technical services, community-based organizations (CBOs), and operational partners — in order to:

● Facilitate a shared understanding of restoration challenges;
● Promote the adoption of sustainable natural resource management practices;
● Strengthen ownership of integrated landscape planning and management frameworks.

The NGO therefore acts as a catalyst for change, encouraging the active involvement of local communities and the alignment of local interventions with Madagascar’s national and international commitments to forest landscape restoration.
